Description

Watercolour painting on paper of three women, half-length, in a treed setting; centre woman wearing a pendant, admired by the other two. Fashions of c.1820, woman at left in white with bonnet, centre woman in light blue with feathered beige hat, woman at right in dark blue with matching hat. Deep frame, wood painted black, edging with "natural wood" effect, gold metal liner; mat also has gold liner.

Inscription

Written in ink on reverse: "Painted by Miss Elizth. Uniacke"
