Grasmere village, from the seat of Thomas King; grassy slopes, with cattle and scattered trees, stretching down to the church and houses of the village, beyond which rises Silverhowe, at left a glimpse of a lake, a birch tree in the foreground. Watercolour, strengthened with gum (?).
