Description

Shows a view of a stone church building with triple nave, and a central tower, and lancet windows. It is surrounded by a stone wall.

Cranleigh Barton was a great-nephew of the artist.

Attibuted on first cataloguing to the artist's father, Richard Taylor. However the date of Mar 71 indicates that it is the work of Mary Medley. Medley was in England at this date; her father was in New Zealand. The inscription is in the hand of Mary Medley and the drawing is located in one of her sketchbooks.
