Description

Framed watercolour of shoreline, buildings in the background and a beached sailing boat in the foreground. In the bottom right are the initials ‘AWB’ and ‘/03’. On the reverse is a handwritten label, originally marked ‘Padstow, Cornwall’, but crossed out and changed to ‘Rye, Sussex’ and attributed to AW Brown. There is also a printed label from George Davidson, Fine Art Dealer, 123 Sauchiehall St., Glasgow, with a handwritten note ‘Rye, Sussex’
