Portrait of a Koranko man seated and smoking a long pipe and a figure of a furnace. The illustrations relates to Alexander Gordon Laing's 'Travels in the Timannee, Kooranko, and Solima Countries' and depict scenes from his 1822 expedition to Falaba, the furnace is included p. 166.
