Two British soldiers standing on a stretch of grass, the one at left supporting a rifle with attached bayonet with his bent right elbow, pointing to front, the other carrying a back pack and rolled-up blanket, leaning on his rifle; tents of military camp and soldiers seen behind; after Charles Hamilton Smith. 1815. Etching and aquatint with hand-colouring.

Inscription

Lettered below image with title, followed by '6th. or 1st. Warwickshire Regiment, / 23rd. or Royal Welsh Fusiliers', and production details: 'C.H.S. / Aquatinted by I.C. Stadler. / London Pubd. 1st. Feby. 1815 by Colnaghi & Co,, 23 Cockspur Street.'
