Figures working in a quarry in foreground at left, a man standing on a slab, giving instructions with his left arm raised; pulley system with trolley for carrying rocks at centre, vertical wall of rocks at right; within a rectangular border; illustration to Ayton's 'Voyage round Great Britain', vol. II. 1815. Aquatint and some etching with hand-colouring.
