Description

This Print shows the Brighton Theatre in Duke Street built in 1789 and demolished in 1807. The image shows two soldiers with blue jackets by the wall of the building, two women talking one in yellow and the other in blue holding a pink parasol. To her right is a woman in pink. The doors to the Pit & Gallery can be seen to the right. Coloured Aquatint.
