Description

Edfu is a town in Upper Egypt on the Nile, between Luxor and Aswan. In the left of the picture appears the Temple of Edfu with its pylon and courtyard columns, dedicated to the falcon God Horus it was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57BC.
