Description

View of the village of Clarens on the near bank of Lake Geneva; further along the bank are various other settlements with mountains behind them; a wooded area in the foreground; in the right foreground is a small stone house with a low stone wall from which a path runs; a peasant woman walks with a load on her head and carries a rake; snowy mountain peaks in the right background. Etching and aquatint, printed in colour with hand-colouring.
