Havell. - Published by Robinson & Son, Leeds, Sept. 1. 1813. - [Reissue?]. - Aquatint, handcol.; image 19.7x30.2cm, platemark 28.7x37.7cm on sheet 32x42cm. Plate from George Walker's 'The Costumes of England', published 1814. - The worker is cropping or trimming woollen cloth with shears after combing it with teasels to raise the nap. Damp cloth is laid on a shear board, and pressure increased by placing heart-shaped weights on the flat surface.
