Description

The subject is a marine scene / landscape depicting the waterfront of the Coves at Quebec. A row of buildings follow the shoreline below a cliff with vegetation. At the left of the work is a view of the St. Lawrence River and the opposing shore with two fore and aft rigged vessels and a smaller manned boat in the water. A wharf extends into the River.
