A design for the south wall of the Dining Room, with two carved gilt sideboards in the gothic revival style, flanking a central chimneypiece and mantel mirror. Walls painted to look like marble. Door to right, with marble relief above.
This is one of a set of designs which were prepared by the firm of Morel & Seddon to demonstrate how the interiors of Windsor Castle might be arranged and decorated. Many of the designs were initialled by George IV to indicate his approval.
