View of some houses on the rocky bank of Lake Lucerne; the bank is lined with a wooden fence and is densely vegetated with trees; in the left hand distance is a particularly tall coniferous tree; beyond this to the left is a sailing boat on the lake; in the water in the left hand foreground are some rocks and a clump of reeds. Aquatint with hand-colouring.
