Description

Seven pages; each showing members of the Austrian army of a variety of ranks dressed in the appropriate uniforms; the series is kept in the blue original wrapper. 1849. Lithograph with hand-colouring.

Inscription

Each sheet lettered with series title and numbered individually; lettered with soldiers' ranks under the approprite images and lettered with publication detail: 'gez u lith v.F Gerasch - Gedr, b J Rauh'; The wrapper is lettered with the series title and 'Verlags-Eigenthum von Joseph Bermann in Wien'; inscribed further in manuscript with information about the provenance (hardly decipherable): 'Presented (...) by his Royal Highness Prince Albert (..) on the 30th April 1853 (...)'
