Dealer's label, verso: "Inscribed, verso: 'with Princess Dock 26 The Duke of Bridgewater Warehouse. Dock. Dedicated to - Bradshaw Esq who I think is the General Agent - will ascertain name etc. next week'. In a different hand: 'Approved W.F.' ('W.F.' is William Finden 1787-1882 engraver for 'Ports and Harbours' first published by Charles Tilt in 1838.)." Hand-written label, verso: "J or W Harwood 1829 'The Duke's Dock, & Warehouses, Liverpool.' Published with this title by Messrs Henry Fisher & Sons & Peter Jacks in 1829 in Lancashire Illustrator. Brown Wash 3 3/4 x 6 inches."
