View of ruins with a large arched entrance in the centre looking towards an avenue of pillars, smaller arches to either side, with facings of foliate decoration remaining on some of the pilasters; rubble in the foreground and figures including four pairs of men in oriental dress talking in the foreground, some holding a spear; published state. 1756. Etching with hand-colouring.

Lettered with the title below in English and French and with keys 1-5 to the buildings, and "Printed for Robt. Sayer opposite Fetter Lane Fleet Street London. 1756.", at top right with plate number: "2"
