Description

Uncoloured engraving. Illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh. ROX45. In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species as a tree of great size, native of various parts of India. It flowers during the hot season, and its fruits are eaten by the natives. Roxburgh, 'Flora Indica' (1832) v.2, p.400.
