Watercolour illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh. ROX2253. In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species as a twining shrub, native of the interior parts of Bengal. It flowers in August and September, and the seed ripens in November and December. Roxburgh, 'Flora Indica' (1832) v.2, p.447.
