Description

Watercolour of Hon. James McNab's house; foreground is street with people walking down road. view looking north-north-east. to the viewer's right below main house at northeast corner of south and Pleasant Streets is seen the house which belonged to William Murdoch, then to John Esson, where the elmwood Hotel now is. Just north of the McNab house is seen the stone house built by John Metzler, the Mason and builder; in which Thos. Kenny and Hon. Wm. A. Henry lived at different times.
