Description
A watercolour of the theatre, with a group of figures standing in a box at the other side, beyond the stage, and gesticulating towards the stage. Probably after a drawing by John Winston. An engraving of this subject was made in 1820 for Wilkinson's 'Londina Illustrata', vol. II, no. 180, and was described as 'from an oreiginal drawing by, and in the possession of John Winston Esqr'.
