Description

Watercolour mounted on page 139 of "The Watercolours & Drawings of H.J. Moule I". Tall stone pillars border the right and the left of the image. The bases of the pillars rest on raised sections of the pavement. In the centre of the image there is a stone tomb, surmounted by a stone figure in chain mail. A similar tomb is in the right background of the image. The clerestory is visible above the tomb.
