Description

Coloured Lithograph. Inside scene of market place, in the foreground many figures sell their wares on a long, narrow table that stretches the length of the picture, other figures stand around and talk or look at the wares for sale. Further back are the columns and walls of the market building on either side where there are more market stalls, sellers and buyers. In the centre of the picture is a long table with hanging meats, more figures stand nearby buying or selling.
