Description

This image shows western and Chinese vessels at the Bocca Tigris. To the left lies the island of Anunghoy, to the right are the Weiyuan and Jingyuan batteries. From H. Edgell Album, Sketches in the Black Sea, Pacific - China - India, 1855-60. HMS Tribune HMS Chesapeake HMS Retribution. Volume 2. Album contains one hundred and thirteen drawings, three of which are loose.
