Scene outside a large thatched building with a yard; a child brandishes a stick at the chickens and chicks in the centre as her mother holds her hand; to the left of them is a stack of hay, a wicker basket and two beehives; to the far left is another doorway out of which another figure peers, and outside which a dog sits on a step; below the roof are two more large wicker baskets and some piles of hay; to the right is a tree against which leans a ladder. Etching with hand-colouring.
