View of the lighthouse of Scalpay, built on top of a rock; forked path leading to a pier at centre and to the coast at left, where two figures are seen next to a boat; sea and hills in background; within a rectangular border; illustration to Ayton's 'Voyage round Great Britain', vol. IV. 1819. Aquatint and some etching with hand-colouring.
