Description

Watercolour illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh. ROX2569.

In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species as a twining, villous plant, native of China. He also notes that in the Calcutta Botanic garden it flowers the whole year. Drawing inscribed No. 2560 by Roxburgh, later identified as No. 2569 in MS, by Sealy.
