Description

ROX1405.

In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species as a shrub. He also writes: '...was found at Chittagong by Mr. Roxburgh, and by him introduced into the Botanic garden at Calcutta, where it blossoms in May, and ripens its seeds in August and September.'
