Description

Portrait of the three sons of the Shah of Persia (Qajar Princes). From left to right Reza Qoli Mirza, Teymour Mirza and Najaf Qoli Mirza (grandsons of Fath Ali Shah Qajar and sons of Hossein Ali Mirza Farman Farma), who travelled to Britain and were officially and warmly received by the British royalty. James Baillie Fraser was appointed by Palmerston to be their chaperone. A picture of the same subject with similar composition by John Partridge exists.
