Description

Watercolour mounted on page 107 of "The Watercolours & Drawings of H.J. Moule I". A large stone ruin is in the centre of the image, with a broken arch at ground level surmounted by a perpendicular window. The arch is flanked by stone buttresses, more windows and parts of walls. There are tall trees on either side of the ruin. Sheep graze in field in the foreground. Inscriptions: [on mount bottom middle] "Netley Abbey".
