View at Scarborough from a sloping road, with horse-drawn carts, a woman on back of a donkey, and other figures in foreground; partly walled road leading to a three-storey building on hilltop at left; harbour and town in middle ground, hill beyond; within a rectangular border; illustration to Ayton's 'Voyage round Great Britain', vol. VI. 1822. Aquatint and some etching with hand-colouring.
