Description

Part two of a four-part panorama of the battle of Sevastopol, from behind the earthworks, looking towards the city and out to sea. In this view can be seen the ramparts with cannons and cannonballs and soldiers beside a barrel, low hills with smoke rising from the various batteries indicated and the city and harbour to the right, with a temple, a church, a fort and the library indicated.
