Description
ROX37. In his 'Flora Indica', Roxburgh describes this species a polygamous tree, native of all the mountainous parts of India. It flowers from May to August and the seed ripens in January and February. Roxburgh also gives a detailed account of some of the uses of various parts of this plants. Drawing inscribed 'Received from Rodney 9th June 1791' in an unknown hand.
