A representation of the Fête de la Fédération: a crowd of soldiers, noblemen and clerics gathering on the Champs-de-Mars in Paris, with triumphal arch and large altar in the distance where several people are proclaiming their allegiance to the Nation, the Law and the King. 1790. Colour aquatint and etching.
Additional Makers: Print maker - Louis Lecoeur; Publisher - Louis Lecoeur
Inscription: Lettered with title, names of designer and etcher, inscription in French giving details about the oath, dedication to the Marquis of Lafayette, and publication address: 'A Paris, chez l'Auteur, rue St. Jacques, No. 55'
