Description

A peasant servant models her native costume; she wears a long, grey and purple striped skirt with a white chemise and green jacket, a circular netted black hairpiece; she holds two small books in her left hand; she stands on a cobbled pavement before an iron gate behind which is a house; gothic pinnacles in the background. Etching with hand-colouring.
