Plate 1: View from the platform on the station; to the left waiting at the platform a full passenger train, with open-top carriages; a single covered carriage sits in centre of tracks; in right foreground people dressed in travelling clothes wait at platform. 1837. Etching and aquatint with hand-colouring.
