NE Colmbia | Pivoche Comun | d2219 | Thomas Berwick 1753-1828 | c. 1785-1789 The inscription above is Berwick's own | heard for a corresponding drawing by | Berwick in just this technique of his | Water Rat in the B 14. 1882-3-11-1109, | presented by Miss Isabella Berwick | LGD | This drawing is engraved in reverse in Berwick's History of | Quadropeds, 1791, p 441, under the title " The Paiche , or | Red-Tailed Monkey. ".
