The Church of the Redentore, Venice; viewed from the quay of the Giudecca, partly hidden by a group of houses, in the foreground a group of women at a fruit stall, a sailor and two friars, a gondola beyond the bridge at left. Watercolour, strengthened with gum, heightened with white, over graphite, on buff paper.
