Description

Watercolour painting on paper of Coffea arabica, a species of coffee plant. The painting shows an upright stem with multiple red and yellow berries (beans) growing directly off the stem. At the top of the plant are dark green leaves, one of which is shown damaged. Areas of the painting have been burnished to give a three-dimensional quality to the painting. The painting is from an album of 58 botanical paintings.
