Description

Sir Paul Pindar's house, Bishopsgate Street Without; a busy street scene outside the house, with people talking, inspecting wares and carrying bundles, and two men unloading a horse-drawn cart to the right, the house itself has a carved and ornate wooden façade, a tavern or shop selling alcohol at ground floor level and is next door to a livery and bait stables. 1843. Watercolour with bodycolour over graphite.
