Inscription reads: "Atlas B. A tomb near Cairo (on other side)" [the inscription refers not specifically to this drawing but to the drawing on the other side of this sheet]. This artwork is one of 71 which make up Atlas B of the Prudhoe Papers, an album of watercolours and drawings of journeys to Mount Sinai, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Sweden and Denmark. Views are included of: Suez, Wadi Zefhira, Wadi Feraan, the stone of Moses, tomb of Agamemnon, Cyclades, Syra, Naxos, Myconi, Tino, Gallipoli, Smyrna, Patmos.
