Description

A view of Clonskeagh village, Co. Dublin, as it was then, from across the River Dodder. In the foreground to the right, a man (most likely Beranger himself, surveying the scene as he saw it and drew it) accompanied by a dog, sits on a grassy mound beside waters tumbling over the weir.
