Watercolour mounted on page 27 of H.J. Moule "Dorset Vol.1". A road ascending Fordington Hill, a raised footpath is on the right behind a handrail. A thatched cottage on the right is dominated by a square bay window and two dormer windows, there are other thatched cottages on the left of the street, behind which is a tree. Inscriptions: [on image bottom right] "Sept 12 89" / [on back of mount] "Fordington Hill, W473, September 12 1889".
