A geyser beginning to erupt, with three men standing at the edge of the crater and another three in the right foreground, gesturing excitedly at the sight of it, while a fourth sits petting a dog, wearing a cloche hat; with mountains in the background. 1797. Hand-coloured etching and aquatint.
