Tww Comment

Doctor and botanist Hermann Beckler was one of 19 members of the Burke and Wills expedition (Victorian Exploring Expedition) of 1860-1861, which attempted to cross the Australian continent from south to north. He resigned the mission in October 1860 at Menindee but agreed to stay with the men and supplies at that depot.
