Description

Second of two watercolours mounted on page 97 of "The Watercolours & Drawings of H.J. Moule I". A fully rigged sailing ship is in the centre of the image with yachts on a river that winds its way along a gorge. The gorge is lined on the left with trees, and on the right with a cliff and trees. Inscriptions: [on mount top right] "The Avon from the Suspension Bar".
