Description

A detailed underground view of the lead mine shafts at Dolphin's Barn, Dublin. Includes Beranger's 'Explanation' of the construction on lower left, specifically detailing features of the shaft. Two men are depicted on ground level at the entrance to the shaft. This is the sole surviving drawing of the Dolphin’s Barn mine.
