View from the south over the Stadsbuitengracht on the front gate of the Wittevrouwenpoort during the demolition, with the Wolvenburg stronghold in the background.
Wittevrouwenpoort was built around 1230, renewed in 1649 and demolished in 1858. It was located where Wittevrouwenbrug is today. Stadsbuitengracht is still intact except for its northwestern part.
