This suburban villa in Rome was built in the 17th century and was widely admired for its gardens and frescoes. In 1885 it was divided into lots and sold, its collection dispersed and most of the buildings destroyed. The Casino dell'Aurora remains. The Via Veneto was built over the former grounds.
