View of Herisau, above which rises a stone church tower and spire in the middle; beyond the town is farmland and in the distance another town; a hill to the left on top of which is a castle; in the right foreground are woods, before which are some farm buildings and fields with three cows in them, a peasant over-looking them and smoking a pipe. Etching with hand-colouring.
